Age of Empires Finally Coming To Consoles!

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition is a remastered version of the original game released on its 20th anniversary for the PC platform. Though the game was only available on Microsoft Windows, Xbox console fans’ prayers have been answered as the game is listed for Xbox Consoles.

Today PEGI, a European organization, and ESRB have added the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S rating section of the existing Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition. According to the data on the official website of PEGI, the game is set to be announced later today for consoles.

The news is most likely to be announced on the 25th anniversary of the Age of Empires broadcast, which is set for later today. You can watch the broadcast on the Official Youtube Channel of Ages of Empires and their twitch account. Moreover, it has also been confirmed that the Anniversary Edition of the Age of Empires 4 will be announced on today’s stream and available on both Steam and Microsoft stores.

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition was a remaster of the old Age of Empires 2, but with improved graphics and 4k support. The game is finally getting announced for the Xbox series after 3 years of its release.
