Starfield is an upcoming Sci-Fi RPG video game by Bethesda, the developers behind the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises. Starfield is the first new franchise by Bethesda in over 25 years and their first major game since 2015’s Fallout 4. The game was originally set out to release on November 11, 2022, but has been pushed forward to the “First Half of 2023” release date.
Bethesda, the developer team behind the upcoming Starfield, is asking fans questions regarding the game as they prepare for the forthcoming game awards show, where they will hopefully update us regarding the game’s release date and gameplay.
On Bethesda’s Discord channel, one of the admins posted a message asking fans to submit questions and queries regarding the game. Based on the wording, they wanted the focus of the questions to be on quests.
Bethesda is asking fans for their feedback based on the gameplay they have shown in the past to polish the game or, hopefully, for its update at the Game Awards. In the past, Bethesda made a video where the director of the game, Todd Howard, answered the community’s questions regarding the game.
Starfield is heavily anticipated by fans all over the world, and Microsoft is betting big on Bethesda’s upcoming title. As such, it makes sense that the developers would integrate fan feedback in their upcoming title.
Since Microsoft acquired Bethesda for $7.1 billion in the past year, they own the IP. Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming and Head of Xbox, was pretty confident about the game’s delay and said he wanted a more polished game at launch since it is the first Xbox Exclusive by Bethesda.
The game is expected to be released in the first half of 2023, and maybe we’ll get an update at the upcoming Game Awards, which is scheduled for December 8. If you have questions regarding the game, post them on the official Bethesda Discord channel.
