Crab Game Sees Huge Resurgence On Steam With 40K Concurrent Players

40k Concurrent Players!!

Crab Game is a free-to-play online multiplayer game released in 2021 on Steam. Though the game is a parody of the famous Korean Netflix Series Squid Game, many fans have previously enjoyed the game as it emulates the popular Netflix show.

Back in November, Crab Game saw thousands of players, reaching an all-time high concurrent count of over 56k Steam players. Since then, the game’s popularity has dwindled, but we have spotted Crab Game has seen a massive resurgence on Steam after nearly one and a half years.

As seen above, Crab Game has reached over 40k concurrent Staeam players in the last 24 hours. The game had average player counts of 2-4k for almost a year, but it appears to have blown up again. Crab Game is still fun to play with friends. The game has 28 maps and 9 game modes. Thirty-five players fight with each other for the ultimate cash prize.

The game was a great hit on its release, as seen by over 50k concurrent players in the first month of its release. Free-to-play was the main thing that helped the game, and the developer knew what fans of the series wanted in the game. He added the Squad Game series games, like red light/green light.

Not too long ago, Netflix also confirmed Season 2 of the famous Squid Game. How excited are you for season two? Have you played the game? Let’s discuss this in the comments.
