A user on ResetEra first found the word Returnal under Oregon’s user file system. This confirms that a PC port for Returnal is in the works.
Previously, there have been rumors about a potential Returnal PC release coupled with a GDC presentation Returnal VFX demo running on PC. Moreover, Footage of Returnal on PC was also leaked. In the footage, the user showcased Returnal’s graphical options and customizations, which included Ray-Tracing, DLSS, and FSR.
Sony also told their investors to expect $300 million in net sales on PC in the next fiscal year, which is an 80 million dollar increase compared to last year. Sony can only expect massive growth by bringing more IPs to PC.
