Sega Survey Hints At Rumored Jet Set Radio And Crazy Taxi Games

Classic Games Coming Back?

Last year, it was reported that Sega was developing reboots of its well-known Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi gaming franchises. The rumors claimed that the big-budget Crazy Taxi game would come out in the next three years, but Sega made no official confirmation.

However, a recent Sega survey could point to the credibility of last year’s rumors. Sega’s recent survey asks users about many games, including Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio. This could mean that Sega is looking to gather information about the popularity of these games for an eventual new release.

These games will be part of Sega’s Super Game Initiative revealed in 2021, a project that would release new and exciting AAA titles available for multiple platforms, focusing on worldwide reach.

However, these are not the only games for reboots; Sega has mentioned multiple titles in the survey . While Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi are standouts because of previous rumors, the list includes arcade classics like Altered Beast and fighting games like Virtua Fighter.

Currently,  information about the rumored projects is limited, and it would be best to take this survey with a grain of salt. This does not necessarily confirm a follow-up for these iconic franchises, but recent gaming trends have shifted focus to revisiting older classics.
