Titanfall 2 Reaches Over 13k Concurrent Players Following Steam Sale

A Much Deserved Win For Titanfall 2!

Titanfall 2 is the sequel to 2014’s Titanfall and was released in 2016. The game was developed by Respawn Entertainment, a studio led by veteran developers behind the Call of Duty Modern Warfare games.

Titanfall 2 has long been regarded as a fantastic FPS title. The game iterates on the solid foundation of the first title, introducing new Titans, game modes, and more for an even better experience. While it never really got the mainstream attention that many had expected, the game has developed a small but dedicated fan base over the years.

Following a recent discount, we have noticed that the game has seen a decent resurgence in the Steam population, reaching over 13k concurrent players.

While this is not the game’s all-time peak concurrent players, the game is doing far better than in the last few months. Titanfall 2 usually averages about 5k players, but the game has reached over 13k peak players now, likely introducing many new players to the game. The current peak is the highest player count for the game since September last year.

Moreover, Titanfall 2 currently stands at number 14 among the top sellers on Steam. Though the list is full of many recent titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition, it is great to see the seven-year-old release doing great.

The game is currently 90% off and is only available for $2.99. This is the lowest price tag Titanfall 2 has ever been available for, and the offer is valid till the 2nd of February, so this is your chance to try one of the most underrated FPS games of all time.

Titanafall 2 had the perfect recipe for a successful FPS title. The sequel ditched Xbox exclusivity for a PS4 release and improved upon the original release in numerous ways. But the game was released between the two biggest AAA titles, COD: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1, and the game never got the appreciation it deserved. Despite the odds at release, many gamers continue to have fond memories of the game.

Besides a commendable multiplayer experience, Titanfall 2 is also home to one of the best single-player campaigns in recent FPS games. Many FPS fans have likely never tried the game due to the game’s underrated nature, but Respawn delivered a praiseworthy narrative campaign with the game in 2016.

Nonetheless, the game is doing better than in the last few months right now, and we hope to see some more enthusiasm for Titanfall 2 in the coming months.
