Great Numbers For Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Team Ninja’s latest title, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, has been shaping up to be an exciting addition to the souls-like genre of games. After months of anticipation, the game is finally available across various consoles and PC.

Though the latest demo got severe criticism from the fans for the poor PC performance, it looks like Team Ninja has found success on the platform at launch. As we spotted, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty reached over 47K concurrent players on the first day of its launch.

Another recent game from Koei Tecmo,  Wild Hearts, launched with 24k concurrent players. While both games share similar performance issues across a wide range of PC hardware, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty appears to be doing much better.

Set during the three kingdoms period, the souls-like offers exciting action where a nameless militia soldier is fighting for his survival, defeating the deadliest enemies to boost his abilities. The game continues the challenging but engaging combat tradition and attempts to tell an interesting story.

Despite the poor PC performance of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo, the title received excellent reviews from video game critics. The game is also performing well in terms of sales on Steam and currently stands at the third number on the best-selling games. Fans on consoles can also enjoy the action through Xbox Game Pass.
