CD Projekt RED Will Take Proactive Measures For Upcoming Games Across All Platforms

CD Projekt is a Polish game development studio famous for games franchises like The Witcher and Cyberpunk. Though the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was terrible. The gaming community was hyped up for Cyberpunk 2077, but it was full of bugs and glitches at launch. The game had so many issues on the consoles that PlayStation had to remove it from the official store for some time.

But now it seems like CD Projekt Red learned it well, as the development studio just released a deep dive video featuring CTO Pawel Zawodny , a board member at CD Projekt RED who is responsible for the technological transformation. He explains how CD Projekt Red is approaching the game development forward-thinking and taking proactive measures to avoid any difficulty or issue in the future.

Moreover, Pawel Zawodny also talks about a big challenge in developing the games and ensuring their stability and performance as they launch the games on various platforms.

“a major risk encountered in the development process relates to stability and performance on all target platforms” and that “we test gameplay quality on every platform from the get-go and do not only focus on the developers’ PC build.”

CD Projekt RED will take proactive measures for upcoming games to test each game on every platform to ensure proper performance and stability.

You can check out the full video above if you want to know everything in detail. It seems like CD Projekt RED has learned from its mistakes after the half-cooked launch of Cyberpunk 2077, and now they will make sure to prevent them in their future projects.
