Diablo 4 was highly discussed before it was finally announced in 2019 at BlizzCon. In 2021, we got more details about the game, but no release date was officially announced at the time. However, Microsoft Store may have revealed the release date of Diablo 4 just a few days before The Game Awards.

According to a prominent Xbox and Microsoft leaker, Aggiornamenti Lumia, Diablo 4 is set to release on June   2023. The leaker believes that Diablo 4 will take up around 80GB on the Microsoft store.

Recently, it was teased that Diablo 4 would make an appearance at The Game Awards 2022 and release new cinematic trailers. Starting with The Game Awards on December 8, 2022, Blizzard could step up the Diablo 4 promotions, and preorders for the game are also expected to begin around this time.

There is still no official release date for Diablo 4 announced by Blizzard. However, The Game Awards is right around the corner, so we might not have to wait long to learn more about the game. Needless to say, this leak does give us a general idea as to when Diablo 4 should come out.

It would not be unreasonable to believe this leak because Microsoft Store is famous for disclosing release dates and game sizes much sooner than official announcements. On the other hand, Aggiornamenti Lumia is known for leaking authentic news about Microsoft Windows and Xb x games. So, it’s safe to assume that the source is accurate.

Activision/Blizzard and all its games, including Diablo, are being acquired by Microsoft. The deal is yet to go through, but we can also expect Diablo 4 to come to Xbox Game Pass if it does.
