The Super Mario Bros Movie is shaping up to be the biggest video-game film of all time. With less than two months left before launch, fans all over the world are excited about the movie, and it looks like Nintendo is joining the excitement with a new Nintendo Switch bundle.
According to well-known leaker billbil-kun, a new Super Mario Nintendo Switch bundle will be launched soon in Europe. The bundle is said to include a Nintendo Switch – Red (2022) version which matches the Super Mario theme, Super Mario Odyssey (Digital Code), and a surprise package that will be something related to the highly anticipated Super Mario Bros. movie scheduled to release in April.

The bundle is currently set to launch on March 10 for 269€.
This bundle was not announced at the recent Nintendo Direct on February 8, 2023. Previously, fans were hoping for a new Super Mario game announcement at the Nintendo Direct, but the release of this bundle proves that a new Super Mario game is still far from release.
Nintendo designer, producer, and director Shigeru Miyamoto recently sat down in an interview with IGN and was questioned about a new Super Mario game and why it was not announced/released alongside the Super Mario movie. Miyamoto then answered, “We’re always working on Mario, so when we get to a time where we can share information, we’ll certainly do so.”
A new Super Mario game may still be far, but fans can look forward to this new bundle that will be released on March 10th, 2023. Super Mario Odyssey is also among the best first-party games from Nintendo this generation, and it would be the perfect addition to existing and future Nintendo Switch owners’ collections.
