Sony to Offer 25% Discount on PS+ on Black Friday

25% on all PS+ Tiers!

Black Friday is just around the corner, and just like every big video games companies, Sony is reportedly offering big discounts. Sony has announced a massive 25 percent discount on all tiers of PlayStation+ subscriptions. As reported by Sony, the Black Friday discounts on PlayStation Plus are set to begin on November 18.

With the approaching holiday season and the upcoming PS Store Black Friday deal, this is a perfect time to purchase PS Plus. Gamers in the US should also look out for PlayStation store gift cards in stores like GameStop, Amazon, Walmart, and BestBuy. Players can buy PlayStation Plus gift cards from Amazon UK, ShopTo, and Argos in the UK.

It will mark Sony’s first official PlayStation Plus discounts since the service’s early-June overhaul, which saw the introduction of its current three-tier structure.

The discounts offered by Sony apply to the yearly subscriptions as follows:

  • PS Plus Essential:  £44.99/£37.49/$44.99 (usually £59.99/£49.99/$59.99)
  • PS Plus Extra: £74.99/£62.99/$74.99 (usually £99.99/£83.99/$99.99)
  • PS Plus Premium: £89.99/£74.99/$89.99 (usually £119.99/£99.99/$119.99)

You can also turn off the auto-renewal service if you’re not looking to renew the subscription at full price. Plans for quarterly and monthly subscriptions are also available at the PS Store. You can also stack these discounts. You can benefit from these deals even if you’re a current subscriber.

PlayStation Plus subscriptions offer a variety of amazing titles across all tiers. However, it’s important to remember that the games catalog will vary monthly. If we talk about PS Plus Extra games for November, there are 400+ games in the catalog. Some games will be exclusive to only the Americas and European regions.

Black Friday sales have a time limitation, so choosing a shorter term than a year is not worthwhile unless you’re just stacking.
