According to SteamDB, Battlefield 1 has over 41k concurrent players in the game. However, it is not the all-time peak concurrent players for the game, but the numbers are enormous. The game received positive reviews on its launch and sold over 15 million copies, a huge success for the franchise.
Moreover, the game received praise for many reasons. Multiplayer modes and single-player campaigns are among the best of the other franchise games. The graphics of the game also contributed to the game.
However, the latest edition in the franchise, Battlefield 2042, currently has only 4k concurrent players on steam. Even though the game was released just a year ago, the fans appear to have moved on from the game already. On the other hand, Battlefield 1 was released six years ago and still seems to be played by many.
