God of War Ragnarok: Sony’s Second Biggest Twitch Launch Ever By Viewers

Finally, the most anticipated Game of the year, God of War Ragnarok, is out, and the Game is worth all the anticipation and excitement. The Game was released five days ago, and it’s already Sony’s second-biggest launch in terms of Twitch viewers.

All the excitement from the fans for God of War Ragnarok made the game 2nd largest ever Twitch launch for a PlayStation Studios game, with concurrent viewers of 478,014. Thought, The Last of Us 2 is still number one on the list, with 508,051 concurrent viewers.

Furthermore, GOW Ragnarok is currently the third most-watched Game on Twitch, just five days after its release. Just Chatting leads the chat with 356k viewers, and Counter Strike Global Offensive is second with 206k viewers.

There is a possibility that God of War Ragnarok might hit the second spot on most watched games on Twitch. However, despite all the hype of Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2, released almost two weeks before Ragnarok, is currently at the 7th number on the list with a total of 78.5k viewers.

Moreover, it’s just been five days, and the Game is already a huge success. Santa Monica Studio knows what its fans want, and they are precisely giving that to them. With a 94% Metacritic score, the Game is an excellent contender for the Game of the year award.
