As seen above, the game has over 300 reviews and 99% positive reviews on the very first day of its launch showing that Hi-Fi Rush has been a success.

Music plays a vital role in the positive reception, with Hi-Fi Rush including tracks from the Black Keys, Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, and other bands. Furthermore, the art style is also a breath of fresh air compared to the hyper-realistic games released in recent years.

Moreover, the game currently stands at the 10th spot on Steam best sellers, less than a day after its launch. With upcoming high-profile releases like Dead Space and Hogwarts legacy, it is great to see a smaller-scale rhythm-based game doing this well.

The latest release is a massive departure for Tango Gameworks. The developer has shown immense talent with their work, from developing horror games like The Evil Within to completely switching genres with Hi-Fi Rush.

The game features the main character, Chai, who goes against an organization with his friends. In terms of the gameplay, players are encouraged to time their hits with the beat for maximum effectiveness. This leads to an exciting gameplay loop in addition to the charming story and characters of Hi-Fi Rush.
